Impressive views of Troll Waterfalls and an extensive vinyl collection of over 3000 records are notable features of Fossatún Country Hotel. I liked the room, breakfast and the restaurant in the evening.

A csendes helyen, Izland nyugati vidékén található szálloda 2 km-re helyezkedik el a Borgarbyggd kerületben található Gábrók vulkántól. we loved all the animals, the fire, the hot tub, the amazing food and the buildings.

Adventure Hotel Hellissandur in Hellissandur features 3-star accommodation with a bar. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We were welcomed by the lovely hotel receptionist Anna, who had such a great positive energy and so kind to also give us extra tips for our travels! In the Peninsula area, it is hard to find a good place to eat, much less to find places open past 6pm, thankfully you got a really good restaurant (Sker Restaurant) only 10 minutes away from the hotel:) Let's talk about the most important meal of the day, BREAKFAST! 10/10. They had all what a breakfast for champions needs: Eggs, Sausage, different sorts of Icelandic yougurt(Skyr), Fruits, Juices, Coffee, and much more;) And you can easily watch the northern lights from the comfort of your room, but if you wanna get even a better view, you just need to drive a couple minutes out Hellissandur (away from the street lights). Located in Borgarnes, 43 km from Thingvellir National Park, Basalt Hotel provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. Gyönyörű, új, jól felszerelt szálloda a szigeten. Sok látnivaló gyorsan elérhető a hotelből autóval, de a szállodában és a gyönyörű környéken is el lehet tölteni 1-2 napot. Nagyon jó a forró vizes medence, és a vacsora is isteni volt. Excellent staff and service. Check in is allowed till 9.30pm you just have to call and inform the staff beforehand. Rooms are extremely spacious and very clean. You have a nespresso machine and kettle.in room. Heating is nothing short of perfection. Beds are clean and comfortable. Breakfast spread was superb.very many vegan and vegeterian options. Highly recommended.

Set in Iceland’s Westfjords district, this hotel offers an in-house restaurant and basic rooms with free Wi-Fi access. Brjánslækur ferry terminal is a 5-minute drive away. A great place as our last stop in westfjords! There's a N1 gas pump, a free air pump with tire pressure gauge, and a free high pressure washer to clean your car! Just PERFECT after a few days driving on westfjords dirt roads. Nice staff. Nice breakfast. Nice room and comfy beddings. Wifi signal not very good but still useable maybe too many people there.

A konyha kiváló, magyar szakács készítette a vacsorankat, nagyon finom minőségi ételeket kaptunk. A szabadtéri geotermikus fürdő kúlönleges élményt nyújt. Jakob a beszélő papagáj az étterem nagyon vicces. Mindenkinek csak ajánlani tudom ezt a helyet.

Set on Flatey Island in the Breidafjördur Bay, this hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Baldur Ferry Terminal that departs from Stykkishólmur. Flatey Island is one of those places you visit once in a lifetime, if you're lucky. We had the opportunity to visit and we're not dissappointed. The only hotel on the island has a beautiful old world charm to it and the decorating is fitting- as you feel somewhat you are back in time many decades. Upon arriving to the Island hotel staff will greet you to give you directions or even a ride to the hotel (it is about a 10-15 min walk from where the ferry docks). The hallways and rooms are nicely decorated and upkept. The staff called us earlier the same day before our arrival to confirm the number in our party and to be sure they could accommodate our needs. They were very friendly and welcoming upon our arrival. We enjoyed a nice dinner in the restaurant and the included breakfast the next morning exceeded our expectations.
