Situated in Canazei Alba, this hotel benefits from a calmer location than central Canazei (which can be frenetic), yet is a few steps away from two cable cars which transport you up the mountains for summer hiking. The personnel are wonderful - nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel offers a quality experience, including an excellent restaurant and a great outdoor bar with log fires and good ambience. The breakfast was superb. The hotel is modern, high-spec, very comfortable. The hotel welcomed my dog, although not in the restaurant, which is understandable. I would choose this hotel again, either winter or summer.

All our previous data were at the hotel as we had food choices and allergies request from last year and it was there and we didn’t have to mention it again. Everything from day 1 until last day was perfect, everything is worth the price and more. thank you for existing 🙏🏻

We loved everything about Hotel Platz! Such a charming unexpected delight, so close to Ortisei and Val Gardenia! The food and staff were exceptional~ always a delicious breakfast and dinner, w a warm welcome from staff. They couldn’t do enough for you! We definitely plan to make Platz part of our plans when we travel again! And the views!! Incredible! Each day, they put together a little daily menu, which included hiking trails in the area~ just wonderful! We will be back!

Super lovely family-run hotel. Very friendly and welcoming. A bit high on the price but was well worth it! They always were willing and eager to make you feel more comfortable. Nice gesture with the welcome drinks; immediately felt the warm welcome. The junior suite was super spacious and well decorated. Everywhere was clean and thought-through. Pool was nice and had a great view to the mountains. The breakfast was just PERFECT. Had a Laden dinner at the evening and was super delicious. Nothing much is near-by so it’s like a getaway hotel. But you could walk 15 mins up the hill to reach the village Centre if you want a night stroll or join the village folks in their beer time. If you have a car then it’s a plus, you can drive to many mountain hikes or mountain lifts.

Such a cosy hotel with exceptionaly friendly but professional staff! The location was great to visit other places. The food was exceptional! Lots of parking outside and inside the garages! The hotel has an excellent heating system, and we were warm all the time in the room and throughout the hotel. Swiming pool, big water slide for kids, jacuzzi, spa, and sauna all great, and we had lots of fun. We are coming back to this hotel soon. The staff is amazing and the property was even better than expected with large clean rooms with beautiful views! We were so impressed we even added another night here. Despite our unforeseen late arrival, we were welcomed warmly by Florian. The kitchen staff was kindly waiting on us before closing for the evening. Also, we were a group of 9 celebrating a special birthday. Florian and the others very graciously searched and found a special cake for our celebration, making this one of the most special memories of our 2.5 weeks in Italy. Lastly, breakfast had a large, delicious variety to satisfy all tastes.

We loved it. Did not really know what to expect - besides the lake view. Exceptional property, with the style of old times, right on the (very beautiful) lake. Super staff, excellent food and buffet ... a couple of days "out of time" for us. Get breakfast, go hike all day, sauna, a drink on the terrace, and dinner. Now we would love to see it in the winter, but it's been fully booked for Xmas by the same patrons for many years.
