Staying at Albergo Ristorante da Settimio was a true pleasure. Francesco and his staff run a lovely small hotel and restaurant that has been in his family for 3 generations. It was a pleasure to be greeted warmly upon our arrival, with the assurance that if we needed anything we need only ask. Francesco loves Lago Trasimeno, and is proud to follow in the line of a family who committed their lives to hospitality and hard work. A stay here is a return to being a valued guest. Our room was simple with a balcony facing the lake. The bed was very comfortable. It had all the essentials for a comfortable stay: well cleaned and disinfected, small fridge, WiFi, A/C, screens on the windows. We would happily return here again, and will recommend it to others.

Locanda Poggioleone is in Pozzuolo, a 10-minute drive from Castiglione del Lago and Lake Trasimeno. It is immersed in nature and offers a garden and an outdoor pool with hot tub. Very nice location and property, you can see attention to details, restaurant serves amazing local food. Possibility to charge electric car. Breakfast was amazing even though we were almost the only guests. Unfortunately we could not experience the swimming pool, as it was closed.

This boutique, family-run hotel is situated in the beautiful ancient center of Castiglione del Lago, a charming, picturesque village on Trasimeno Lake, in a lush, green part of Umbria. The hosts were fantastic! Parking was free... and easy, once you knew how (& Roberto was so helpful in this regard). Nothing was a problem.... even a fan was arranged for an unusually hot day/night. Breakfast was soooo good. The room & beds were larger than normal & the bathroom brilliantly renovated. The location is perfect. Great value for money & VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Located in Castiglione del Lago and with Perugia Cathedral reachable within 28 km, Isola Polvese Resort provides concierge services, allergy-free rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a restaurant. A super stylish hotel in an old villa by the waters edge. 50 metres from the cheap ferry, which ran frequently and offered free parking at the ferry pier. The room was beautifully stylish, the photos do it no justice, and facilities were first rate. The staff could not be faulted, they were engaging, helpful and could not have done more for us. The food looked and tasted appetising. Finally, the setting was tranquil. Super easy to park, to get the ferry and get to the hotel. Don't let the logistics put you off a magical stay.

Set in its garden with furnished patio and surrounded by the countryside, Le Macerine offers free WiFi throughout and a free swimming pool. The hotel was in a very quiet neighbourhood, but very close to the lake and 10 minutes walk from city center. The room was very spacious and it had a big bed. The room and the bathroom were clean. The bathroom was very complete and comfortable. There was a fridge available. The rooms are actually cabins with the door going outside directly, which is very good for COVID. Breakfast was typical Italian with salty and sweet food that you could select yourself. There were some homemade tasty cakes. The staff was incredible friendly; they recommended us good restaurants around and they helped us contact us the bikes rent place after we could not deliver the bikes on time. The parking is wide and it was enough. The hotel had pool and an area to stay and relax.

Located in a peaceful location the historical centre of Passignano Sul Trasimeno, Hotel Trasimeno offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with a balcony. Passignano Train Station is a 5-minute walk away. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, nice location, 5m walking to the historical area and restaurants. Free parking as a good advantage.

Situated on the shores of Lake Trasimeno, Hotel Kursaal is set among extensive gardens. It offers free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV. The property was a perfect place for a retreat! It was beautiful, quiet and close to the town without being in the middle. It was perfect.

The Belvedere is a family-run hotel in Passignano Sul Trasimeno, on a gentle hill 10 minutes' walk from the centre. lt offers an outdoor swimming pool and free parking. It's an family-run hotel, old but very neat and clean. The owner was extremely friendly and welcomed us as very special guests and met all our needs. The breakfast was simple, yet very delicious, including home-made cakes - yummy! It's 10-15 mins walk from the marina, have a pool, free parking, and there's a supermarket nearby.
