Located in Norcia’s historic centre, Albergo Ristorante Benito offers free Wi-Fi throughout. Guests can dine at the restaurant and have a drink at the bar. The hosts were very kind. The room was essential but clean and confortable in any aspect. Norcia is outstanding although still recovering from the 2016 earthquake.

Stunning views and location. If you re cruising central Italy for the history/culture and fancy a ski and/or a hike, you can get your Alpen feel (both indoors and outdoors) avoiding the long detour to the Alps. That is at a fraction of the cost, with genuine people and food, and without the snobs. The lovely old town is literally seconds away walking. But dead quiet for sleeping at night.
