Hotel was nice, room is clean and beds are comfortable. Breakfast was good and staff of the hotel very helpful.

Featuring a garden and a traditional restaurant, the family-run Tre Fiumi is located in Ronta. Set in a historic building, this property is a 15-minute walk from Ronta Train Station. This is an old hotel with all its charms! The lady of the house welcomed us even after official check in time and we had great polite communication even though we didn’t fully share a mutual language. What a friendly host! Breakfast was traditional with fresh cut up prosciutto and cheese, croissants and bread, cereal, yoghurts and delicious cappuccino. We chose this hotel even though we aren’t cyclists - we were on the way out of Florence towards Bologna and Venice and thought we’d rather stay „along the route“ than in a pricey city hotel. It was definitely the right choice and we would have loved to have more time to stay.

Located in Borgo San Lorenzo’s pedestrian area, Hotel Locanda Degli Artisti is set in a 19th-century building, and offers a terrace and air-conditioned rooms. Wi-Fi is free throughout. Quaint little traditional Tuscan hotel. Great location in the centre of Borgo San Lorenzo, a short walk from the station. (40 minutes to Florence on the fast train). Hotel was clean, comfortable, quiet & the staff were very helpful. Good water pressure in the bathrooms. Air conditioner conditioning worked well (& was quiet). Breakfast was in the neighbouring cafe but this was not a problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Set in a 15th-century convent, Locanda San Barnaba is in the historic center of Scarperia, 5 minutes' drive from Mugello Race Track. It offers air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Traditional accomodation with modern facilities making our stay very comfortable. Staff were excellent and very helpful. A superb bonus restaurant downstairs which we took good advantage of. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Set in an ex post station from the 19th century, Il Cavallo is located in Barberino di Mugello, in the Tuscan countryside. Free services here include WiFi and parking. Beautiful old building that is extremely well maintained. Huge room and had use of their patio. Air con was a big treat being 35 degrees. Looked like a new bathroom. Lovely, lovely hosts. So kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plenty to eat. Would highly recommend you staying here. Restaurant down below that is soooo good too but pizza and pasta just down the road about 50m.
