Aquatio Cave Luxury Hotel & SPA is situated inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO World Heritage site. Featuring a on-site restaurant and free WiFi, the hotel is located 400 metres from MUSMA Museum. Breakfast was excellent. Good variety and all very fresh.

Set in Matera and with Matera Cathedral reachable within 500 metres, Palazzotto Residence&Winery offers a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. Very clean and great location! The staff was super helpful and friendly

UNESCO alanı Sassi di Matera'ya sadece birkaç adım uzaklıkta bulunan Il Belvedere, asansörsüz 2 katlı bir oteldir. Otel Matera'nın panoramik manzarasına sahip mobilyalı bir teras sunar. The hotel is in a beautiful historic building. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Le Malve Cave Retreat Retreat, Matera'nın tarihi bölgesi Sasso Caveoso'da yer almaktadır. Otel, şehir manzaralı balkona sahip klimalı odalar ve açık büfe kahvaltı sunmaktadır. Sara her konuda çok yardımcı oldu. Restoran ve detaylı şehir turu önerisi getirdi, kahvaltıda glutensiz ekmek ve kek temin etti. Otelin konumu mükemmeldi. Arabamız için Sara’nın önerdiği ücretli otoparktan yararlandık. Otele uzaklığı sadece 950 m’ydi. Genel olarak çok memnun ayrıldık.

UNESCO koruması altındaki Matera Sassi'de yer alan Corte San Pietro, taştan oyma yenilenmiş bir tarihi binada hizmet vermektedir. I think it’s relevant to explain my comparison base and feedback on this hotel a bit more up front: I’ve been traveling A LOT over the last 25 years (90% business, 10% private…) and have been staying over in hundreds and more hotels around the world…. The Corte San Pietro hotel in Matera is “ASTONISHING” and really ONE OF THE BEST hotels I’ve experienced in my life ! For following reasons: 1) ALL staff is exceptionally friendly, service driven and customer focused. They undertake all possible to make the stay at this hotel for their guests one to remember. Not because they’re asked to do so, but they just love their job and their customers. 2) Fresh fruit and fresh cold water is available in your hotelroom 24 hours a day (at no costs…) 3) The hotel rooms are an experience by themselves. They’re partly digged out from old Matera caves, breathing a real historical ambiance, are impeccably clean and only offer high quality products (bath, shower, soapsh, towels and more…). You also receive a bronze “plaquette” with your name on that is placed right next to your hotelroom door: “Matera is your home now….!” 4) The hotel has underground caves that you need to visit. Especially the “broken mirror cave” is a must visit. Other than the caves the hotel is equipped and decorated with historical features that create an incredible atmosphere which at the same time explain about Matera’s history (> 20.000 years…). 5) Breakfast (with fresh, home made and high quality products only…) is served whilst a friendly pianist is providing you daily the most relaxed environment. 6) The “patron” (owner) of the hotel is a humble, but more than friendly and eloquent elder Italian man that is hosting his guests personally every morning and afternoon with friendly talks and sincere interests. “My hotel is only great as I’ve great guests….” (please digest this and think over how this sounds in friendly Italian wording…!).

Sassi di Matera UNESCO alanına 700 metre mesafede yer alan Hotel Casino Ridola, videoyla izlenen ücretsiz otopark ve yüzme havuzu sunmaktadır. Tüm odalarda ücretsiz Wi-Fi erişimi mevcuttur. This hotel fit in directly on my personal favorite list! Everything was perfect! From the spacious and clean rooms to the kindness and availability of the staff! I was able to meet the owner's son Mattia who checked me in when I first arrived and I could say that I really felt at home with his hospitality. Special commendations also to Enza and Paola for the wonderful chit chats during breakfast in the mornings! Passionate and helpful staff always make a difference! I stayed here in December so I wasn't able to swim at the pool but I bet it's really something during summers!

Matera'da Casa Grotta nei Sassi'ye 200 metre mesafede yer alan PIANELLE RESORT konsiyerj hizmetleri, anti-alerjik odalar, ortak salon, tesis genelinde ücretsiz Wi-Fi ve teras sunmaktadır. Super spacious and well designed room as well as bathroom. Loved it. Breakfast was having great selection including home made food.

Matera'da, Matera Katedrali'ne yaklaşık 1 km mesafede yer alan Palazzo della Fontana'da teras, anti-alerjik odalar, bar ve tüm alanlarda ücretsiz WiFi erişimi mevcuttur. I really loved my stay at the Palazzo della Fontana, wish I would have booked more than one night. The location is perfect, you are right in the city center, everything important is within 5 minutes walking distance. The room was very spacious with a very tasteful Interior and high quality toiletries. The receptionist were super helpful with tipps regarding restaurants and parking. You cannot park in front of the hotel, there is only a space for 30 Minutes, but you can at least drop off the luggage at the Hotel. The parking garage is 2 minutes away and it costs 20€ per day. The breakfast was delicious and the Cappuccino marvelous. I would definitely come back and will recommend the place to friends.
