Surrounded by the unspoilt nature of the Casentino Forests, Hotel Da Giovanna is in Chiusi della Verna centre. The location was perfect. Right at the end of the trail - The Way of St Frances. Breakfast and dinner were very good and someone was always there to make cappuccino or serve a glass of wine. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful!

Proprietor was very helpful even though we spoke no Italian and he doesn't speak English. Sadly we had to leave before breakfast as we needed to set out very early before the weather got too hot (pilgrims walking the Way of St Francis). We were still offered pastries and coffee before we left
