We really loved our stay here, we only had one night. The hosts were very friendly and couldn’t do anything more for you. We had dinner there, it was fantastic and typical food of the region. Parking on site and great wifi. Everything was very clean Breakfast was very good and again typical food of the region. Could have stayed longer.

Palia's Hotel was the perfect spot to break our trip from Sicily to Tuscany over night. The owner Carmelo was very friendly & generous making us feel very welcome. He introduced us to a variety of the local produce over dinner that evening including nduja, pickled garlic & a great EV olive oil. The home made pasta was delicious. We also enjoyed our walk in Laino Borgo seeing the beautiful murales'. Will definitely return again 🍷

I normally go there to sleep while traveling to Sicily from Northern Italy, that is quite a long trip. The food is very authentic and good. Staff is kind. From here you can hike in the Pollino Park.

Featuring a free-form outdoor pool, the Grand Hotel De Rose is located in Scalea, next to its private beach. Wi-Fi and parking are free, while some rooms have Tyrrhenian Sea views. The Grand Hotel De Rose became our favorite place to stay in Scalea. We stayed there three times for a total of ten nights during our month-long visit to Italy. The location is excellent, just minutes from the beach, the Lido’s and town center. The staff are wonderful and super helpful. The hotel has a restaurant for breakfast and lunch, but not for dinner. There is a very nice pool, and the hotel has its own Lido on the beach where you can eat lunch and sunbath. The grounds are nice with places to sit, relax and enjoy the view. We stayed on both the second and third floors with a balcony and amazing views of the sea and along the coast to the old fort. The rooms are large and comfortable, even for an extended stay. We enjoyed walking along the street by the Lido’s and our favorite Lido became, Il Pescespada Beach Club for lunch and drinks. The owner Mattea was so nice and helpful, always making our visit enjoyable. There are so many great restaurants, in just a short walking distance from the hotel, that we never used our car. We will certainly stay there again.

Beautiful resort. Look left to the pool, well kept, exceptionally clean, pool bar and look right to the sea. Again kept stunning, with lots of fun entertainment for adults and children. I would highly recommend it. Breakfast croissants are delicious and the resort is also walking distance - 5 mins - to a lovely sea parade with lots of restaurants, bars and shops.
