She welcame us with joy and a glass of Proseco and little traditional cookies. Room was perfectly clean. In the morning fine breakfast with delicious cafe and very home-like atmosphere. Surely reccomend this accomodation. Very moodfull little village on top of the hill.

This is a special place. The photos on the Booking.com site are incredibly appealing and the reality even more so. Note than many reviews mention Tania - as well they should. She checks you in, serves you breakfast, serves you dinner, makes all the preserves and pretty much works a twenty hour day without ever seeming to tire. Unfailingly warm and courteous. While it wasn't our prior intention to eat dinner in the hotel each evening we did and we were so pleased with that decision. The entire ambiance harks back to a time when one checked into a country hotel and stayed there. The room was large and luxurious in a 19th century manner. Ample free parking in the courtyard. We certainly hope to return.

We greatly appreciated the elevator and the air conditioning. The views in this castle are amazing, and staff are very kind and helpful.
