We stayed in Hotel Gries eight nights and truly enjoyed a warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the personnel of the hotel. Amazing and helpful receptionists who advised us about the slopes, Sella Ronda route, local restaurants, wine and helped me to treat the injured knee. Food was excellent - we were looking forward to dinner experience every single evening. Also, SPA facilities were good, but had to be pre-booked. At the arrival we were offered a very small room, but luckily we could change it to a spacious one. The room was cozy and clean with the renovated bathroom. Although the room was located close to the elevator, we did not experience any noise.

Breakfast is tasty, staff very king and helpful, room was warm and big enough for two people. We appreciated ski room with shoe heaters. Free parking next to the house. I am happy to recommend and come back!

Felt like we were the first to use the room. Modern equipment, ski room, sauna and etc.. Apartment: Large, full of light, comfortable and properly appointed and equipped with really modern and functional appliances. Giant TV. The bathroom is spacious and the shower is pretty good.

The hotel is walkable distance to the Sellaronda starting gondola for winter ski vacationers. For the hotel room, nice and modern finishing, cozy lobby and bar areas. Food-wise, amazing breakfast selection. We opt for half-board during our stay and the dinner was a 5-course meal. Wellness spa was nice to have and free of charge. Overall, decent hotel for the value, super conveniently located, would definitely stay again for future trips.

Absolutely loved our stay, and the hospitality from Michil, his family, and the entire team was a huge component of this. They go the extra mile to ‘surprise and delight’ guests. Our first evening we were invited to join Michil and his wife for wine and apps which was such an unexpected treat. Rooms were thoughtfully done, great outdoor sitting space, lovely sauna facilities and lots of options for drinks and dining. But Michil is the star, taking the time to connect with guests, offer hiking suggestions and generally just check-in and say hello. I would highly recommend and already thinking of how I can return!

Everything was so goodddd. The hotel is big and the reception can speak English very well. Our room was clean and spacious. Walking from the garage can directly enter to the room without wet during raining. There is a lot of kitchenette in the room so we can cook our meal easily. Location is not far from the tourist spot. Wifi is fast. I haven't try the breakfast so no comment about that.
