Amazing agriturismo. Make sure you book the apartment with the private terrace, you’ll be admiring one of the best views over the Val D’Orcia. Pienza is perched on the hill in front of you, and you have amazing sunset views. Vilmo Barbi, the owner, is incredibly helpful in giving you suggestions for your stay. The room is fully equipped (the best part was discovering a stack of playing cards!) with all necessary amenities. Monticchiello is about 2km from the agriturismo, and is a jewel of a hamlet. Would definitely love to come back!

La locanda Il Porcellum is a fantastic 4-suite house setting overlooking the thermal spring “sorgente “ in this unique & lovely town. It is also fantastic to be able to dine at the Osteria on the first floor! We thank Marino, Elena, Francesca, Chef Luigi & Katiuska for their warm hospitality. Luigi is an amazing Chef and his creations absolutely delicious (the Egg & tartufo is Top!!!). We highly recommend this lovely hotel /restaurant to explore the beautiful Val D’Orcia. We can’t wait to be able to go back to visit.

We stayed at Convento for a week and used it for driving around Val d’Orcia and Amiata. This was a perfect place to relax. Good breakfast and very nice room. The place itself calls for silence and relaxation. The monastery has been restored very beautifully and it is fun to live in buildings that have been here since the dark middleages. The owners and manager are very nice people. We have been several times to Val d'Orcia but Marianna gave us some very good tips for new things to see in the area.

Quiet, beautiful setting on a hilltop with views of the Val D’Orcia and sunrise and sunsets. Able to walk/ hike right from there to San Quirico and Bagno Vignoni. Apartment was very comfortable and clean and easily cooked a nice dinner there. Even has a coffee maker and coffee which was perfect. Easy to get in touch with host if needed. You may be lucky enough to pet the cute dogs that live there- they are quiet. This was a highlight in our Tuscany travels!!

The owners are great, very helpful, nice and not intrusive at the same time. The location is perfect for visiting all the sights (Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, Montepulcino, Val D’Orcia…), although it is not on top of the hill. It is really helpful that they have a list of suggested restaurants - which are are really great. I suggest taking the breakfast since it is really good - no one should miss their home made yoghurt.

It was really an exceptional stay, in the middle of nature. You look around, and from one side you see the stunning hills of the Val d’Orcia, and from the other there is Pienza. Our apartment was perfectly furnished. I was positively surprised that there were even two bathrooms! Outside as well it was furnished and decorated nicely, so it was the perfect setup for a romantic evening.

great location in beautiful setting. close to pienza and Val d’Orcia. rustic and traditional in a good way. food at restaurant very good. views are amazing. if the pool had been open would have been perfect. really easy to explore the area by car. the gentleman that ran the desk was the sweetest. quaint. room is clean. bed pretty comfortable came with extra pillows and blankets.

The hosts are an amazing local couple who also make wine and are very passionate about hospitality. They were so helpful during our stay and the apartment is absolutely perfect in every way - they thought through every detail and this is a perfect village to stay in while visiting Val D’Orcia. We hope to make it back!

A beautiful gem in the heart of Val d’Orcia, a perfect starting point to explore the neighborhood. Staying at Carola’s charming apartment made it possible to feel the authentic Tuscan atmosphere. The apartment is in the heart of San Quirico’s historic center just few meters from great restaurants and cafes.

Very lovely typic inn in Montalcino. Very comfortable and nice rooms with a superbe view. Excellent breakfast. The owners are a lively family who let us park our 4 bikes in their garage. This stay in Montalcino was the peak of our 3 days in Val d’Orcia and our preferred hotel.

Location was great. Very cozy apartment in the hearth of Val D’Orcia region (most beautifull in whole Tuscany). Swimming pool was always clean, beautifull view with vinyards, and owner was very friendly and helpfull. Great place for a holidays with dog! All was perfect!

Very clean apartment with great facilities, pool was lovely with amazing views and very nice garden.. the place is very remote but we liked this as it was so peaceful and you can drive to all the main sights in Val D’orcia within 30 mins. Would definitely recommend

Very well located with just a few minutes driving distance from the main ancient towns in Val d’Orcia. The apartment is amazing, very clean, comfortable and with a astonishing view. They have a delicious breakfast and a fabulous customer service.

Very quiet and surrounded by forest, great for relaxing and winding down. Impeccably clean and spacious apartments with fully equipped kitchen! Perfect location for visiting Val d’Orcia and surrounding areas!

Stunning hotel, exceeded my expectations! An historical castle in the heart of Val d’Orcia with spa and thermal pool. The food is amazing, you can enjoy fresh seafood by the pool, I really appreciated it!

500 years old convent full of history, amazing view of the Val D’Orcia from the terrace of the hotel. Breakfast on the terrace was the best we had in Tuscany.
