Die Unterkunft Savet Guesthouse ist gelegen in Stœ̆ng Trêng. Es gibt eine Terrasse und die Gäste können kostenlose Privatparkplätze und kostenloses WLAN nutzen. Von Laos kommend haben wir einen Zwischenstop in Stung Treng eingelegt, was eine sehr gute Entscheidung war. Das Hotel ist super, alles sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Bett war sehr bequem, das Bad ziemlich groß und die Dusche schön warm. Schade nur, dass man im Hotel kein Frühstück bekommt. Zum Hotel gehört eine Reiseagentur, die Ausflüge in die Umgebung anbietet und für uns die Weiterreise im Minivan organisiert hat. Wir fanden es klasse in Stung Treng und würden es nächstes Mal genauso wieder machen.

Recently, I had the opportunity to visit this amazing place and I must say, it was one of the best trips I have ever taken. As soon as I arrived at the resort, I was greeted with warm smiles from the staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was immediately taken in by the tranquil atmosphere of the resort. The lush gardens, wooden bungalows, and beautiful views of the Mekong River made me feel like I was in paradise. The bungalows at Mekong Bird Resort Strung Treng are designed to blend in with the natural surroundings, providing a comfortable yet rustic experience. Each bungalow is equipped with all the necessary amenities including a comfortable bed, a private bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the river. As I settled into my bungalow, I couldn't help but appreciate how well-maintained and clean everything was. The resort truly takes pride in providing its guests with a comfortable and pleasant stay. One of the highlights of my trip was the boat tour on the Mekong River. The resort offers both private and group boat tours that take you on a journey through some of the most scenic areas of the river. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, pointing out different bird species and sharing interesting facts about the local culture and history. We also had the opportunity to visit a nearby floating village where we got to interact with the locals and learn about their way of life.

Das Pomelo Restaurant and Guesthouse's Fishermen Bungalow & A Tammarine Bungalow River Front genießt eine ruhige Lage auf der Insel Don Khon und bietet kostenfreies WLAN. Die Lage ist genial, ganz im ruhigen Süden der Insel direkt am Wasser mit Blick vom Bett auf den Mekong. Man hat sich sehr um uns gekümmert, insbesondere tolle Ausflüge abseits der Touristenströme organisiert. Einfach perfekt.

Das Pomelo Restaurant and Guesthouse- Serene Bliss, Life in the Tranquil Southend of Laos verspricht einen ruhigen und entspannenden Aufenthalt auf der Insel Don Khone. I’ve loved everything about this stay. The peace at Pomelo is unmatched, the staff is beyond nice. food was great, the room was perfectly clean and so beautiful. I can not recommend enough, looking forward to go back:)

The person that handles the property is amazing, struggling a little bit with the English but he will definitely try to help you with your questions. The food is amazing as well and the restaurant is on the river, perfect for enjoying a nice breakfast!

The view from the verandah over the Mekong is simply fantastic. We would have liked to stay much longer. The accommodation is quiet and clean. The location is perfect: in the quiet part and yet not far from restaurants. It is possible to book tickets for onward travel. Boats pick you up directly from the guesthouse.

Don Khone is the place to be, if you're trying to decide. we almost stayed in Don Det, and I am so glad I spent a bit extra and came here. The village is lovely, the whole island is really nice to bike around, and Sala Done Khone is lovely. The AC works very well, the floating studios are lovely, and the breakfast is great and large. The other meals are also good at the restaurant, or there are plenty of options close by. They provide everything you need and the beds are super comfy! Thanks very much for a lovely stay. We didn't want to leave.
