Ideal for someone who wants to learn surfing. Very lively area with plenty of restaurants around. They even gave us an early check-in for free.

Was greeted warmly by the staff when we arrived and even had coconuts to enjoy which was wonderful - especially after roughing it the 2 days before in Yala. The room itself was lovely, clean and had a great view of the ocean. The shower was wonderful (and not just because I hadn't showered on safari). Ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was very good and reasonably priced. Had to leave early to catch a train and the team was so helpful for us - coordinating a tuk tuk at 5am and even packing breakfast for us to enjoy on the train (and it was wonderful).
