Rubeni is located in Pilskalne, just 300 metres from the Pilskalnes Siguldina nature reserve. It offers self-catering accommodation with a sauna at an extra fee. Very clean, older but perfectly functional furniture, comfortable matresses, extremely hospitable hosts (they even gave us a bunch of homegrown apples before we left), cool temperature inside in hot weather (no AC needed), beautiful garden and surrounding nature, very calm, well equipped kitchen

Featuring lake views, Vesta offers accommodation with a private beach area, a garden and a shared lounge, around 34 km from Daugavpils Ice Arena. Great value for money. Everything was as described. The owner was very helpful and even gave us some fresh homemade bread and cheese. The lake with the zip line kept the children entertained.
