Boasting garden views, Vasarnīca is located in Pļaviņas, 5.8 km from Stacija Ozolsala. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the holiday home free of charge. Wonderful, spacious and modern house with a big garden. Located in very centre of a small and quiet town, minutes from train and bus station - yet still felt like in the middle of nowhere. Great opportunity to wind down after a hectic working week, many scenic walking routes nearby as well as other little towns and villages full of character starting from just 20 min drive from the house. Netflix is available as a nice evening ‘entertainment’ after a day spent outdoors. Property had no bath, but big shower room instead. Everything looked just like on pictures on Booking.com, but you won’t realise how big is the house until you see it for yourself. Second floor was locked up as it’s being renovated, however, there’s more than enough space for more than 2 people on first floor. Host Indra was very kind and helpful, could contact her any time with any questions. There’s railway very close to this house, but could barely hear any trains.

The place has amazing collection of artworks and old school tools. In fact - the imagination with which the interior has been created makes Jumiezis an artwork itself! The owner was so kind to spend a couple of late hours telling us fun facts and history of the town and Latvia - his presence made our trip unforgettable!! He also gave us great advice on things to see the next day, which changed our plans for better! We had a very spacious room with a huge double bed and a nice view. On top of that we could spend as much time as we wished dowstairs in a 'pub style' dining room. Great value per price ratio!
