It was cold in the morning, but the bed was very comfy with heavy warm blankets and the hot water in the shower was plentiful. Within walking distance of El Cedral park, which is mostly great fun for families with kids but there is a hike up to a mirador that is absolutely not to be missed no matter how tired you get.

Hotel El Paraiso is just 800 metres from Mineral del Chico, and offers landscaped gardens and terraces, sports facilities and free Wi-Fi in the lobby. Pachuca is a 40-minute drive away. Beautiful setting, close to town, great staff, comfortable befs!

We travel often in the U.S. and Mexico and this property is high on the list of places we’ll definitely stay at again! The property is located a half a mile from center of town. We were able to walk safely to the restaurant and shops via the sidewalks from the hotel into town. We came for the trails and they did not disappoint. The trailheads where also within a short walking distance of the property. That was a huge plus! The room was comfy and had the most breathtaking view of the mountains from the window, that you can view from your bed or out from the balcony. The staff was very welcoming and wonderful!
