Set in Punta Mita, a few steps from Careyeros Beach, Hotel Basalto offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Basalto is a very beautiful boutique hotel. The rooms are well laid out and the views on cliff edge are amazing. The spa was pleasant with the sound of the ocean. The food was fantastic. Giovani was great in helping us learn some Spanish while ordering food. We stayed here for two days and spent time at the rooftop pool and enjoying the views from our room.

The house is beautiful, the amenities are in perfect condition and everything is clean. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and the casitas have everything you need to make your stay pleasant. Mr. Mario and Mrs. Yolanda made us feel at home and are excellent landlords. The overall organization was exceptional from the beginning. Even though the beach is rocky, there are spaces to swim either on the one right in front or walk to the ones that are nearby. In short, it was the best choice for our vacation and we hope to return!

Beach and pool were excellent. We stayed in the jungle room which had a beautiful view of the foliage. The restaurants offered a number of vegetarian and vegan options which we appreciated.
