Located on a desert reserve between Sesriem and Solitaire, Soft Adventure Camp offers chalet accommodation for nature enthusiasts, just 30 minutes drive away from Namib-Naukluft National Park. We really enjoyed our stay at this small family-run business. The brothers Kai and Sven as well as the rest of the staff work really hard to make this place a lovely experience for all guests. We were upgraded to a lodge room as the adventure camp tends to not be occupied during winter time. The food was incredibly good, we had 3 to 4-course meals every evening and a delicious breakfast with lots of options. The barbecue dinner outside was our favorite. We also did the Sossusvlei tour with Sven and highly recommend it, as well as the sundowner tour where we saw zebras, ostriches, jackals, oryx, warthogs and more. There are hikes you can do around the large property and waterholes where you can look out for some animals. At night, you get to see the milky way and stars as bright as day. It's enjoyably quiet and the attention we received from Kai and Sven and their colleagues is hard to come by in other places! We'd definitely stay here again :)

Le Mirage Resort & Spa es un oasis único en el desierto, situado a 100 km de Solitaire, Namibia. Ofrece alojamiento de lujo y comida gourmet. We stopped by a castle in the middle of the desert, without any booking, and immediately fell in love with this place. Everything is out of this world, cured with a lot of taste for detail. The rooms are spacious, comfy, well designed in harmony with the surrounding nature. The castle is made of stones from the rocks few hundred meters away. The food/chef are amazing and flexible (for vegetarians). Breakfast is out of this world. The view is breathtaking. We got a massage at the spa which was good value for money. Loved the vibe of the restaurant next to the swimming pool, again, great interior design with a lot of beautiful objects.

Estos bungalows espaciosos cuentan con aire acondicionado, y están decorados con tonos cálidos y elementos locales. the property is amazing, the pool is simply mindblowing with the most epic view, but the staff is what brings it all together. they are kind, attentions, fun. the food is amazing and you can feed the extra care they put in everything. staying here was a heartwarming experience and made us feel at home.

At Kronenhof Campsites está a 22 km de Duwisib Castle y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, piscina al aire libre, jardín y salón de uso común. El camping ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis. We stayed at campsite #4, which had everything that we needed: a clean private bathroom with shower, toilet and warm water, electricity, lights, a big table with benches next to the braai area and a nice little swimming pool close by. The view, especially the sunrise and sunset, was amazing, and the homemade dinner in the restaurant was very delicious. Even WiFi was available at the main lodge.

A blissful experience that nothing can top. The location is amazing. Peace & quiet. The tents are far apart so you feel like you are all alone. The beds are very comfortable, as is the bedding & the outdoor bathroom was utter bliss.
