Die Port van Cleve is a cozy hotel situated in the center of Enkhuizen, along the harbor. The train station and tourist information office are a short walk away. All rooms have a private bathroom. Very friendly and obliging family-run hotel in a great location over-looking the river. Close enough to walk to the train station, even for older people pulling bags. Great breakfasts, bar/lounge area for relaxing at the end of the day and a lovely historic feel.

Located 24 miles from Rembrandt House, Heavens Hotel offers 4-star accommodations in Hoorn and features a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. One of the finest hotels we have ever stayed in. Incredible amount of $$ spent to beautifully renovate a church. Unique in so many ways. Must see it to believe it. Cherish at the front desk went out of her way to help us with a serious issue with the river cruise company. She made several calls and saved us from real problems. Rooms were perfect. It is impossible for me to rate everything higher. It was incredible!!!!!

Located near the Markermeer, Hotelhuisjes Oosterleek offers detached rooms (Little Hotel Houses) next to a farmhouse.. Each has a terrace with views. The whole experience was first class. The welcoming upon arrival. clearly nothing would be too much trouble but equally we were not disturbed. The accommadation was more than we expected and extreemly clean and tidy. Very comfortable bed and other facilities.

Hotel Medemblik is in a charming town set on one of Europe's largest inland lakes, the IJsselmeer. Ideally located in the center of the city, you can walk around the town and park your car for free. Superb, comfortable room in one of the best locations Staff were incredibly professional and helpful Views and bar/terrace very nice Very convenient for touring Medemblik's hot spots Will definitely come back for horse racing in September!
