Housed in a building from 1873, this hotel is found in Lillesand’s picturesque harbor. Rooms offer a mix of old-world charm and modern comforts such as flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Due to a snow storm we were unable to make it to the boat in Kristansand and this was our luck. We were able to add 2 more bonus days to our holiday at the last minute. And a bonus was the stay at the very friendly hospitable hotel Lillesand for sure. Stayed 2 nights in the suite in the quaint, kest-decorated picturesque village of Lillesand. Highly recommended.

Set by the seaside in the picturesque Risør town center, Risør Hotel offers free Wi-Fi and room with a flat-screen TV and private bathroom with bath or shower. Risør Aquarium is 164 feet away. The room was lovely, warm and really clean. The breakfast was delicious, especially the crispy bacon and eggs! The reception was lovely but as it was quiet season it was only open to allow us to check in. The location is wonderful, right on the water and close to bars and restaurants.

Lovely pier to sit over fjord at night.
