The only issue we had was road closures due to heavy rain in southern Norway. The staff were very helpful to us in rerouting our travels.

This hotel is surrounded by mountain landscapes and just 0.6 mi from the entrance to the Rondane National Park. The view is great. Good to walk around. We got there in the sunset time, it was stunning. The decoration of the hotel has historical pictures and furniture, very stylish. Dinner and breakfast are good. It's a little bit of drive from the main road. If you have a car, no problem.

Putten Setter is located at "the top" of mountains and you will experience amazing views from nearby hills. Cottage is overall clean, nice and equipped (however some older kitchen equipment could be maybe replaced). But, I really recommend this place and would like to come back some day.

Just around the corner from Oppdal Train Station, this hotel dates back to 1924. It offers free parking and rooms with free WiFi and a private bathroom. Oppdal Ski Center is a 10-minute walk away. The breakfast and hotel restaurant was amazing. My favorite breakfast on the trip and an excellent dinner for a decent price (compared to other Norway restaurants price wise).

Located in Dovreskogen, Dovreskogen Gjestegård AS features a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. This is a guest house along the main road at a strategic location. The breakfast was nice, restaurant serves standard meals, and the huge guest room has some cosy corner to spend the evening.
