Located in central Dombås, this hotel lies 2297 feet above sea level at the foot of the Dovrefjell Mountains. It offers free Wi-Fi, private parking and sauna access. The only issue we had was road closures due to heavy rain in southern Norway. The staff were very helpful to us in rerouting our travels.

View of snow-capped mountains from my window - Staff were very accommodating - Dinner was fantastic. Grilled salmon and potatoes. The lava cake for dessert was the best that I have ever tasted - Went in late August...so in the off-season. I was the only one at the lodge

Just around the corner from Oppdal Train Station, this hotel dates back to 1924. It offers free parking and rooms with free WiFi and a private bathroom. Oppdal Ski Center is a 10-minute walk away. The breakfast and hotel restaurant was amazing. My favorite breakfast on the trip and an excellent dinner for a decent price (compared to other Norway restaurants price wise).

This hotel lies in the village of Dombås and overlooks the Dovrefjell Mountains. It offers free Wi-Fi, free private parking as well as cross-country skiing tracks and mountain hiking trails. This hotel was absolutely lovely - better than our expectations!

Located in Sunndalsøra, Sunndalsøra Hotell has free WiFi. Each room at the 3-star hotel has mountain views, and guests can enjoy access to a shared lounge and to a bar. The hotel has family rooms. This is the only hotel around, do not expect to get the same hotel experience like in Trondheim, for example. Sunndalsøra is a small town, and the hotel is located at the heart of it. - I booked 2 double room, with 1 extra bed on a room for my daughter, both rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. We stayed just for 1 night but it was a great experience. The bed is comfortable, there's a TV with local Norwegian channels, and there is a fridge if you need one. - The scenery around the city is amazing, especially if you are not from Norway. If you use public transportation, the bus stop is right next to the hotel. There's also a taxi office near the hotel and bus stop if you need one. - The breakfast is great, there are options and their serving is generous. You also have free tea and coffee corner near the reception. - Wifi speed is fast, you can work in your room without hitch. - You can also keep your baggage in the hotel if you checked out before your bus/transport arrives.

Frich`s Kongsvold features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Oppdal. The hotel provides both free WiFi and free private parking. The hotel offers a continental or vegetarian breakfast. Everything was just perfect, we did not expect this very high level and were very positively surprised. A strong recommendation from us to stay overnight and enjoy this hotel with its nice wooden rooms and the superb dinner and breakfast!
