Eidfjord Hotel has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Eidfjord. Free private parking is available and the hotel also offers bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. We arrived when the restaurant had just closed. But since we were so hungry and simply wanted spaghetti with tomato sauce the cook decided to still fix something up for us. We enjoyed dinner with a great view! The staff is friendly, helpful, and very attentive. We also liked that they offer a charging station for electric cars. (Though it would be even better if there were more in case one is taken) We are very glad we stayed here instead of the other big hotel in Eidfjord which had a huge cruiseship in front of it the next morning.

The view, the quirkiness, the fact our kids could slide on the site was a highlight! We used our drone from a higher point, 15 min walk from the cottage to film the kids and the view was absolutely amazing! The fjord was stunning! We found food at the local supermarket only a few minutes away by foot. The service station makes nice coffee which I grabbed early morning and off i went for a walk, full snow and freezing temp but it was a delight!

Situated 4 km from Røldal Village, overlooking Lake Røldalsvatnet, Hordatun Hotel offers international cuisine and an on-site bar. Hotel was clean, good breakfast and very nice view from the room

Situated in a late 19th century Art Noveau-style building overlooking the Måbø Valley, Fossli Hotel offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with private bathrooms. Vøringsfossen Waterfall is next to the hotel. An over 100 year old history — creaky hallway floor boards and ageing carpet part of the charm to me, and something I appreciate further after learning about the hotel carried down generations. The rooms most importantly are more restored, very clean and comfortable and buffet breakfast is good — didn’t have the chance to try the restaurant.

Tyssedal Hotel is by the Hardangerfjorden at the foot of the Hardangervidda Mountains, 6 km north of central Odda. It offers free WiFi, private parking and free sauna access. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff was super nice.

This hotel is located by Lake Sandvevatnet in the village of Odda, close to the Hardangervidda National Park and Folgefonna Glacier Park. The centre of Odda is 2.1 km away. The View at Breakfast and also from the Room was Spectacular. They gave us a room where we didn’t have to climb stairs and it was easily accessible. The staff was were very kind. There were friendly sheep around the building. Always ask for a Table Fan which will be given to you on request, as u will need 1 for slight air circulation in the room….coz u will need to shut the windows coz of the water noise and mosquitoes sometimes.…or else u might feel stuffy or sweaty in the middle of the night…..this is a tip to be used in the whole of Norway.

With fjord, lake, waterfall and glacier views, Vikinghaug has fully equipped accommodation with free WiFi situated in Odda. Guests can enjoy the view of Sandvevatnet and surrounding mountains. Great staff, huge apartment and wonderful facilities. View was exceptional. Highly recommended!

Situated in Kinsarvik and only 50 km from Trolltunga, Huse Gjestegard features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property has lake and river views. Beautiful location, the most pleasant unit. We stayed at the private cabin outside. The staff was very welcoming, and the cabin itself had everything we needed. The outside area is full of hidden gems and scenic spots. Only thing to note is that the mattress is very soft so take it into account if you suffer from back pains. Definitely recommend!

Overlooking the Hardangerfjord, this property is next to Kinsarvik Ferry Terminal. It offers cottages with private kitchen facilities and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Nice view. Each cottage has its own parking right next to it. Friendly staff. There is shared Miele washing machine and dryer. Everything was clean. I would stay here again. Perfect place to relax after hike to Trolltunga!
