Scenically set by the Oppstrynsvatnet Fjord, the family-owned Hjelle Hotel rests in a lush garden surrounded by mountains. Jostedalsbreen National Park is 5 km away. I arrived late, but was able to get dinner. An superb tagliatelle and chocolatecake for dessert. Breakfast was very nice. They had access to the gym in town. And had chargers for electrical cars.

Situated amongst nature and directly on Nordfjord’s waterfront, this hotel is about 1 km away from the town of Olden’s cruise terminal. It offers free WiFi, Norwegian cuisine and fjord views. What a charming getaway cabin! We absolutely loved everything about it! The location, the layout of the space, the view from the deck, the thoughtful decorations, the modern kitchen, the coziness and cleanliness of it all....it was our favorite stay during our trip to Norway! Would highly recommend to couples, and small families visiting this stunning region of Norway.
