We left very early to make a flight, so the receptionist was kind enough to make us breakfast packages, as we wouldn't be able to eat at the breakfast buffet. They were delicious, and made from leftover from the dinner the night before. He even accommodated our vegetarian needs.

The included museum brings a lot of ww2 history as the surrounding demolished buildings were prisoners cells. The hotel building was Office and other. Very friendly host with many stories to tell and makes sure you feel absolutely 100% guest. Perfect. No TV but free WiFi if you need it.

The beautifully redone, traditional house is a gem and one can feel the love that's hidden in every detail. The breakfast was lovely (although no special vegan options or plant milk was available, but i've been travelling norway for a while - so I know to come prepared). The house is on the premises of a working farm and you can look at the pigs and cows and enjoy the tranquility and views! right next door the oyna restaurant is an experience. I stayed in the mainhouse in a room with bathroom, there are also rooms with bathroom across the hall and it seems also some tiny homes. There is a little shop that offers local beer and some wine, which is open in the afternoon.
