We got there in the sunset time, it was stunning. The decoration of the hotel has historical pictures and furniture, very stylish. Dinner and breakfast are good. It's a little bit of drive from the main road. If you have a car, no problem.

This family-run mountain lodge, just outside the Rondane National Park, is less than 4.3 mi from the E6. It offers views of the Rondane Mountains and Gudbrandsdalen Valley. We actually did not stay in this place as we were moved to another in the same chain (low season and they close some facilities), but I believe they are all similar. really nice staff did a custom dinner just for us (specially for us bought fish), very cozy hall to sit in with fireplace and AMAZING hiking around. also they have a dog living in which for us was a plus.
