My partner and I loved the friendliness of our hosts, the delicious food served, and the spectacular location this accommodation was nestled in. Mr. B's family was so friendly, they included us in their son's first rice feeding and their other son's birthday which included dal bhat, beer, and cake. The food on the other hand was something we looked forward to throughout the day; our favourite was the tomato onion cheese omelet served with jacket potatoes and salad, yum. The location was astounding, it bordered Bardiya National Park and the gates to the park were a two minute walk away. Additionally, Mr.B's place offered guided jeep safaris, walking tours, and rafting safaris through the park; we did each and saw so much wildlife including rhinos and tigers!

The place is very tranquil and about a 5-10 minute bike ride to the market. They have a bike available for rent which did come in very handy. The room was comfortable and clean and WiFi worked very well. The staff is wonderful and very helpful with finding out bus schedules, planning a safari tour and offering guidance for the area.

Staying at Bardiya eco-friendly homestay has been one of our best decisions in our trip around Nepal. From the beggining of our stay we felt truly welcomed by Sardhul, Basu, Sarita and the rest of the family and as the days passed we felt more and more part of the family. The space is beautiful, clean and very peaceful, Sarita's food is absolutely delicious, wifi works pretty well and the location is great to inmerse yourself in the local community and visit the park. However there were the small details that made us love our stay with the family. Basu is a teacher at the local school and very involved in the life of the community, we had long walks with him and it was great to learn more about local life first hand and also to share with him a bit more about our culture. Sardhul was always doing everything on his hand to make us enjoy our experience: comming to the bus to pick us up, arranging our jungle walk and coming together with us and the guide, inviting us to come back into the jungle with him and his friend without any cost... just to name a few! Sarita and the girls always had a smile to gift us and they prepared some delicious dishes and taught us some of their recipes. This kind of connection and exchange is what we always look for when traveling and definetly here you can find it! We recommend everyone to stay at Bardia eco-friendly homestay, you won't regret it!!

Wild Planet Eco Retreat has free bikes, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Bhurkīā. Among the various facilities of this property are a bar and water sports facilities. We had an unforgettable stay at Wild Planet Eco retreat. We enjoyed the place, the food and the company. We also booked three safaris with Baba and it was incredible! We have been really lucky to have them (they were two) as our guides. They are local and is incredible their knowledge of the place and the species therein, and also their passion for their work. Absolutely awesome! It has been a plesure to meet Baba and to spend this week with him, his family and friends and rest of the staff. We will never forget Tiger land.

If you would like to stay in a true Nepali homestay, Nanu and Kali’s place is amazing. They offer a very pure, yet comfortable experience. They have two rooms for rent, and live on the property themselves. Nanu will be able to guide you on hiking safari’s as well for a good price. Apart from that the food is amazing. :) Would 100% recommend anybody looking for a Nepali experience to go here!

Wonderful staff and guides. They will arrange any kind of activity-jeep trip or walk, full day or half day. They organize it to your wishes, depending on what you hope to see. We even had a feast at a village house, with home made rice wine (fire water). Sitting around a fire, we had a great evening. I give this resort the highest recommendation possible.
