El Chital lodge in Chitwan ofrece alojamiento con bar, jardín y terraza. El alojamiento cuenta con restaurante, recepción 24 horas, room service y wifi gratis. Bishnu (the owner) is absolutely wonderful!! His tours are fantastic!! The walking tour into the jungle is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever experienced! Also I did the Jeep safari with him and it was incredible! I saw at least 20 rhinos during me time there, wild bison, so many different types of deer and monkeys and so many other birds and things. He is so knowledgeable about the plants and the jungle and history of the area! We also talked about how healthy mud huts are. The lodge itself consists of these quant huts with lovely porches where you can read. Mosquito nets over the bed but there seemed to be less mosquitoes here than in Pokhara. I stayed here 4-5 days! It was wonderful!!

The evening was filled with a Tharu dance cultural program whose venue is right next to the hotel. It was a memorable and pleasant stay for me in Sauraha.

Al llegar al hotel tuvimos la Sensación de estar como en casa después de un trekking de tres días y mucho chaos en Katmandú El personal del hotel encantador y muy pendientes de nuestras necesidades. Contratamos en el hotel una excursión de un día con canoa, caminar por el parque Chitwan y jeep por la tarde en el parque. Todo salió perfecto . Los guías que nos acompañaron en la canoa y camino a pie por el parque fueron amabilísimos y muy atentos. Nos daban información y conocen muy bien el entorno. El hotel fue para mi hija y para mí la opción perfecta. Nos hicieron sentir muy bien allí.

We had a beautiful stay at Hotel Aikawa. The facilities are new and clean. The restaurant overlooked the pretty rice fields and it was very close to the restaurants in Sauraha. We were impressed by the staff who were all very helpful and professional. When we where there they were celebrating that they had aquired another star for their rating and we were invited to the celebrations where we had really good Nepali food. Overall we had an excellent stay and it was well worth the price.
