Built in 1865 and restored in 1902, Otira Stagecoach Hotel is located in the heart of the Arthur's Pass National Park. It offers antiques throughout as well as stagecoaches and horse wagons outside. A unique, 'out of the box' experience. The hotel is a living museum, with antique paraphernalia and curios everywhere. The furniture in the rooms is amazing. Feels like you have stepped back in time to the 1800s. Lester and Sam were excellent as hosts. Meals were great quality and value. The bar (available to in-house guests only) offered beer and wine at reasonable prices. There's not too much accommodation in the Otira / Arthur's Pass area with dining and bar facilities, so the Stagecoach Hotel fills a valuable niche.

The Tussocks, Arthur's Pass is a recently renovated vacation home in Arthur's Pass, near Arthur's Pass National Park. Amazing location! Peaceful and serene. No one around. An older cottage, but with modern facilities (fantastic bathroom, newer washer/dryer machines, comfy beds --enough for at least 4 people, probably more--, cozy living room with wood stove). Close enough to the 1 restaurant and 1 cafe/shop in Arthur's pass (1-minute drive), but away from the road so there's no traffic or other people. Great hosts with great communication.

Petes Place is located in Arthur's Pass, just 3.1 miles from Temple Basin and 29 miles from Broken River Ski Field. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Cosy, warm, reasonably priced, well kitted out.

Set within a stunning historic rainforest and walking track, Jackson's Retreat Alpine Holiday Park offers 5-star accommodations with access to a garden and a barbecue. Great location, wonderful nature ambiance, there's even a nice waterfall hike and glowworms at the property. It's very calm, the Kiwi room was very comfy (and near the bathrooms so no long walks in the cold to the shower 😉). The amenities were nearby and offered everything we needed, and there is even a small shop at the reception for your basic needs. Our only regret is that we didn't book another night here as well.

Just a 4-minute walk from Arthur's Pass Train Station and 0.4 miles from Arthur's Pass National Park, The Nook features accommodations in Arthur's Pass with an open-air bath, a garden, and barbecue... The landlady told uss the keys were on the lock. very easy to get into the property

Located in Otira, 7.7 miles from Devil’s Punchbowl Falls, Rata Lodge Accommodation provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Bed was comfy, hosts were amazing, great games to pick from, fully stocked kitchen, close to Arthur’s Pass hiking

Basic, Super 'Cosy' Cabin in The Middle of National Park and Mountains is located in Otira, just 7.3 miles from Devil’s Punchbowl Falls and 7.8 miles from Arthur's Pass Train Station. Really well located, cute hut. Had helpful amenities which we weren’t expecting! Hosts were lovely and helpful!

The Loft at Bealey offers accommodations in Arthur's Pass, 6.5 miles from Arthur's Pass National Park and 6.8 miles from Arthur's Pass Train Station. Amazing hosts, super friendly and helpful. Bealey is a great location anytime of the year. We went up on a rainy weekend and it was so relaxing and the view out the window of the mountains is nice. The Bealey hotel is just across the road and Arthurs Pass village is a 10 min drive away.
