Catlins Retreat B & B features accommodations in Owaka. Featuring garden and quiet street views, this guest house also includes free Wifi. Location was excellent. The room was very spacious, with a very comfy bed. Jill, the host, was very welcoming and offered some great tips for lical activities.

Offering a garden and barbecue facilities, Kaka Point Views Apartment 2 in Kaka Point is close to Kaka Point Beach and Port Molyneux Beach. It was so nice to have the bread available in the freezer--expecially since there are very limited places to eat in that location. It was spectacularly beautiful and very comfortable

Offering barbecue facilities, Lawfield features accommodations in Glenomaru. With garden views, this accommodation offers a balcony. Lawfield BnB was a lovely cozy hideaway, with stunning views of the rolling hills, sunrise, sunset and night stars. Though the cabin was secluded and small, it was thoughtfully designed with everything that we needed for a restful and comfortable stay, including hot shower, hairdryer, USB charging pods, a kitchenette, and full length glass doors and balcony for enjoying the views. The place was neat and clean. The hosts Keith and Helen were also warm and friendly. They gave us some excellent recommendations to check out in the area, such as the annual Farmers Market at Kaka Point. Location wise, this was pretty near a few highlights along the Catlins trail, such as Nugget Point and Roaring Bay. This would make a good rest stop along the Catlins trail, or launching base to explore the Catlins. This was one of our favourite places to stay in New Zealand. We stayed for only 1 night, and wished we stayed longer. We look forward to returning to Lawfield BnB one day!

Seascape Accommodations has 3 modern apartments, all fitted with quality furnishings, free WiFi, a Smart TV and views across the ocean to the Nugget Point Lighthouse. The view, ocean front location, and value for the money can't be beat! The room has a couch facing the wall-to-wall sliding glass door/windows which look out to the Kaka Point beach. Communication with the owner was great. The room had a separate living area/kitchenette and bedroom. They left chocolates for us on arrival which was nice.
