This hotel is 200 metres from the shopping area of Velas and 1 km from the harbour. It features a terrace overlooking the garden, the outdoor pool, and the Atlantic Ocean. The pool was filled with the perfect temperature sea water. The breakfast offered was over the top.

At the foot of the São Jorge Mountains, Hotel Solmar is less than 100 metres from the coastline. Its air-conditioned rooms overlook the Atlantic Ocean, Calheta Harbour or mountains. The room was clean and very spacious, equipped with an a/c which was very welcome in July. :) The location is great, close by a supermarket and restaurants. Good breakfast!

Varandas do Basalto has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Queimada. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a patio. The apartment is very comfortable with plentyspace, the owner was very kind and helpful. Very well located.

Cantinho do Piano is situated in Velas. The property has sea and garden views. The guest house features family rooms. Very helpful and kind owner, nice room with comfortable bathroom and kitchenette with coffee, tea, microwave and fridge.

Beautiful, in a quiet location, with a wonderful infinity pool overlooking the Atlantic, rich breakfast and helpful staff. Simply perfect.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Urzelina, Casa d'Avó Guesthouse and Apartment is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain. What I liked the most was the space available for the clients. Large kitchen and large patio . The staff was polite, discreet and helpful. The cleanliness and the comfort of guests were a top priority for Victor who came to meet the guests several times. Very appreciated.
