I didn't realise when I booked that the accommodation was brand new and had only recently opened. The room we had was fantastic, very clean, modern and thoughtfully decorated.

Le Refuge d'Heva is set in Salazie and offers a garden and a bar. The air-conditioned accommodation is 4.1 km from Cirque de Salazie, and guests can benefit from on-site private parking and... This place is cozy, renovated, clean and just perfect. The apartment is located outside of the village so you will find absolute peace there. You can enjoy just sitting on the terrace in the evening, having your favorite drink and just watching the stars (including the Milky Way!). We highly appreciated that the hosts provided instructions on how to reach the place because it is not possible to find it on google maps. But following the instructions we found without any problems. Highly recommend this place and if we are ever back in the area (hopefully soon), we will definitely book this place!

Offering a garden and lake view, Gite LA CASCADE BLANCHE is set in Salazie, 6.1 km from Cirque de Salazie and 32 km from Cirque de Mafate. What shall I say. People indeed make a difference, and that's why we would return without hesitation. The warmth we experienced from Fissa, Antoine, and Tom was incredible! We felt genuinely welcomed and enjoyed two superb dinners with them. Sharing the table with other guests, we engaged in delightful conversations, although our french was almost not existing, and savored a glass (or two) of rum. Unforgettable! A special thank you to Tom, who provided unwavering support throughout our stay. Even when we faced a memory storage issue, he came to our rescue (and sacrificed his sleep ^^). The next little house is approximately 50 meters away, ensuring ample privacy. Ours even had a Jacuzzi, a delightful addition after a hike. We adore animals, so it was charming to see a lovely dog and a donkey strolling around. While the house and its furnishings weren't extravagant, they had everything you needed and, most importantly, were impeccably clean.

Great place, we loved our stay! The house is new, modern and well built. the terrace was super nice and the garage outside absolutely beautiful! Everything was comfortable and really met our expectations. the location was perfect for hiking with many trails only a 5-10min drive away. very peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was in the fridge and fresh bread and something sweet was brought every morning. We liked the fact that it was very private and you don’t depend on breakfast schedules or such.
