Surrounded by a broadleaf forest and set on a hill, 30 km from Buzău, Cetatuia offers accommodation with free WiFi, an à la carte restaurant, and a terrace. It was exceptional. Remote, quiet location, fantastic room with balcony with panoramic view over the forest (room 202). Great food, both breakfast and a la carte menu. A very pleasant surprise. We will for sure come back.

Note: to get to the parking lot in front of the main entrance of the hotel you have to turn onto the pedestrian street.

Set in the heart of Buzau, this hotel is 50 metres away from the bus stop with transport links to the Main Train Station. Hotel Art features a bar and a restaurant serving Mediterranean dishes. The room was huge and comfortable: I almost felt like I was in my own bedroom. The furniture was new, the bed was really comfortable, the huge screen TV a big bonus for the one day that it poured and my friends and I gathered to relax there and order room service. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the room was tastefully decorated. The front desk staff were very friendly and easy to talk to: they gave me good tips about where to find some services in the city. I was really impressed that such a small town could provide such good service. Breakfast was great with good coffee and a decent variety of food. I also liked the restaurant inside the hotel.
