Facing the beachfront in Jokkmokk, Peace & Quiet Hotel features ski-to-door access and a private beach area. There's a terrace and guests can use free WiFi and free private parking. From my first inquiry, Bjorn was beyond helpful. We had family meeting in Stockholm to begin out journey. Bjorn suggested Lulea as the nearest airport where we rented a car for the drive to Jokkmokk-the place where the magic begins. The glass huts was extraordinary-the best possible use of every inch of space. It was toasty warm inside and perfectly furnished. The views were out of this world. Bjorn also booked several adventures for us: snowmobiling, dog sledding and a visit to a Sami reindeer herder. One night he cooked for us, another perfect evening. We had two huts for three nights, which began with a Northern lights show. We could not have wished for anything more.

It was a very pleasant surprise. - The owner was very helpful, hospitable and offered us extra help with our requests. - The lodge is located in a cozy, small village and just next to a historical church and a grocery shop.

We wished we had booked more nights in Umea to stay here longer. The owner and staff made us feel so comfortable- from the check in, dinner, breakfast, and showing us the facilities. You can tell everything was designed and maintained with a lot of thoughtfulness. 11/10 !!

The breakfast was phenomenal! The staff was very accommodating, working with us to offer the best experience possible. They had a sauna that opened at 3pm, but if we wanted to use it a bit earlier, they offered to start it up a bit earlier. The location was perfect, right close to downtown, but also not right in the thick of it. Highly recommend!
