Built in 1911 and renovated with many of the original features carefully retained, the Grand Hotel in Alingsås is conveniently situated within 100 metres of the Alingsås train station. The ambiance, building and staff. Very happy about our stay. We arrived very early, unannounced, but the staff nevertheless arranged a nice room immediately. We were given excellent advice on the town. The large common room, with coffee and snacks, by the reception area was perfect for working. The breakfast buffet was very good. We would gladly return.
