We parked the car in the wrong space but were told politely to move the car from boendeparkering to the hotel parking.

Breakfast, continental, served on time in a basket outside the door. A lot of coffee and all very nice. The location right by the river in the absolute historical center of this Viking age old town. Everything is close and parking is easy and free. The family who runs this have done a very clever job and the decoration is superb, boutique is true. I stayed here because the people I was supposed to visit had covid, but this is a place I really like to be.

Featuring a bar, Sandhamn Seglarhotell is located in Sandhamn in the Stockholm county region, a 4-minute walk from Fläskbergets Beach and 1.2 miles from Trouville Beach. Pool, large hot tub, and sauna. All the staff we encountered was first rate. We didn’t meet any of the owners or managers, but I’m sure they are fine. The location at the marina was fantastic for watching the boats and the people who live on them. The restaurant was excellent.

Set by a fortress from 1735, this waterfront hotel on Värmdö Island offers impressive views of Solöfjärden and the surrounding archipelago. Scenery is amazing. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Location was off the beaten track - perfect for a holiday.

Set in Stockholm’s beautiful archipelago, first-class hotel and conference center Fågelbrohus offers a historic setting in Värmdölandet, just a 35 minute drive from the center of Stockholm. Fantastic environment for relaxation. We really enjoyed the spa facilities as well as lunch which we had booked separately. We made good use of the other facilities during our stay such as pool table, room to play board games, outdoor seating areas etc. I think there were bikes available but we didn't use them.

The Åtellet Hotell re-opened in April 2009. It is located at the mouth of the Norrtälje River, with the archipelago and sea at walking distance. Great location and amazing staff. very scenic
