A family-run hotel, the Diery is 0.9 mi away from the center of Terchova. It is set on the Janosikove Diery tourist route with waterfalls and narrow canyons. Amazing place for a very good price! Perfect to start any adventure around the area.

Village resort Hanuliak is located in National park Mala Fatra in Belá village near the tourist information center in Terchová. Guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Beautiful, modern hotel offering nice clean rooms. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Perfect spa facilities included in the price. Breakfast buffet had some warm and cold food options available, quite enough. Restaurant offers some tasty food and we were lucky to taste the bbq prepared in the back garden on one occasion.

Set in Gbelany in the Žilinský kraj Region, 2.2 mi from Strecno Castle, Hotel Château Gbeľany features a barbecue and hot tub. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Check in was super fast. The hotel has great character and charm. Room was large and bed was comfortable. The buffet breakfast had great selection and was fresh and well maintained. The pool was the best, I don't like basement spas. this wellness area had an outdoor hot tub and modern clean light pool. The whole wellness area was a treat and unlike some other hotels it was included in the price of the room. I paid for a massage and even at the last minute they were able to schedule me.

Garni Hotel Fatra is located in the town of Terchova amid the Mala Fatra National Park, just 656 feet from the ski slope and the hiking cycling tracks. Very pleasant stay. Modern and clean facilities, very helpful staff and great breakfast. Amazing wellness / sauna available for an extra (but small) fee.

Hotel Havrania features free access to the wellness area, free WiFi and a TV in all units. A free tennis court, a gazebo and a restaurant with an extensive wine list are available. from the moment of arrival, owner greeted us knowing who we were. pleasant was room and its bathroom with great views. food excellent, served by very kind ukrainian waitresses. as we came during summer, it was not a problem to get there but during winter i would advise 4x4 or chains.

Hotel Boboty is located in Stefanova and offers transport to the Vratna Dolina ski center. It provides rooms with attached bathroom with satellite TV. Superb location. Amazing view from the rooms with the mountain view. Breakfast and dinner very tasty (although Slovak-specific) with mountain view. On top of that nice add-ons like swimming pool, pool table. Beds were very comfortable and rooms quite spacious.

Hotel Majovey is located in Žilina, 7.1 miles from Strecno Castle and 1.9 miles from Budatin Castle. This 3-star hotel features free WiFi and a bar. Blatnica Manor House is 27 miles from the hotel. Great location (couple of minutes from city center, walking distance to train station and bus station) yet the place was quiet. Room was older but well maintained (for the most part), top cleanliness. Bathroom was spacious with a shower. Breakfast was nice, staff friendly.
