This hotel exceeded our expectations. It looks fantastic, the food is unbelievably good, the spa is wonderful and the staff did everything to make us feel welcomed. It is only 15 min drive from ski slopes that we enjoyed every day.

Horsky Hotel Sliezsky Dom is located in the heart of Tatra Mountains, 1670 metres above the sea level. It offers elegant rooms with mountain views, a flat-screen TV and a minibar. The best location. Beautiful views. Really cozy vibes, beautiful fireplace in the lobby. Very stylish. Great atmosphere. Exceptional service in the restaurant, the staff in the restaurant was always ready to help. The food was delicious. I really liked the wellness, it is not too big, but with great view from the relax room, the music was not too loud. We travelled with a little baby and the staff helped us with everything. They stored our carseat at the reception so we do not have to have it in our room during pur stay. I definately recommend this hotel and I am pretty sure we will come back.

Το Grand Hotel Kempinski είναι ένα πολυτελές θέρετρο για εκλεκτικούς επισκέπτες, που βρίσκεται σε υπέροχη τοποθεσία, σε μια αλπική λίμνη, σε υψόμετρο 1.351μ. This is a very classic hotel in a beautiful location. Our room on the second floor overlooked the valley, which was a lovely view. While I didn’t feel the need to pay a premium for a room overlooking the lake, it was nice to be on at least the second floor as we could open our windows and curtains wide to enjoy the fresh mountain air without any sacrifice of privacy. Excellent breakfast. The welcome glass of sparking wine on our arrival after a long drive was much appreciated.

Looking back upon a 100 year-long tradition in hospitality the historical Grandhotel Stary Smokovec in the centre of the High Tatras, only 3 minutes from the departure station of the Hrebienok cable... Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία με θέα στα βουνά και γρήγορη και εύκολη πρόσβαση στο χιονοδρομικό.

Grandhotel Praha is located Tatranska Lomnica, at the foot of Lomnicky Peak, right in the heart of High Tatras and only 900 metres from the nearest ski lift. the pictures on the website don't do justice at all: the hotel is MUCH better in reality than it looks like in the pictures (it was a great surprise for us) ; the style and interior decoration are amazing ; the garden and terrasse are beautiful ; definitely a place to stay for hikes in the warmer seasons ; the buffet breakfast was great ; the buffet dinner was also great (good quality and range) ; the restaurant was beautiful ; the hotel was very clean, extremely well maintained and stunning in its architecture (a classic gem) ; the staff was helpful and respectful ; the location was excellent (e.g.: close to cablecars, hiking tracks, ski slopes, town) ; the parking was big and easy to move into ; the spa & wellness facilities were excellent and clean ; the bar was cool and barmen very friendly and at your attention ; live music is played on some days and over the weekend (pianist) ; the gopass included is a real bounty for the activities around ; there is a playroom for children and a big conference room ; the room and bed were comfortable ; the bathroom was clean ; we had a very good view from our room (classic room with view) ; we could even witness a sky-tearing storm ; the hotel is so good you could spend the whole there without feeling you're missing out ; I could go on and on but a definite gem in the Tatras ; one of the best hotels I've stayed in and would definitely recommend to anyone going in the Tatras ; very good value for money ; internet was good too and possible to work from the room desk

Beautiful recently renovated and clean room with a stunning view of the mountains. It has a nice two person private sauna you can reserve. The restaurant serves good Slovak food and drinks for very reasonable prices. They even have their own souvenirs, postcards and snacks for sale. But most of all it's a lovely mountain hut with the benefits of a hotel, and the perfect base for hikers who want to enjoy nature. Multiple marked trails are right outside of your doorstep! It's accessible by foot or fernicular (expensive cable car), and just outside of the business and tourism of Hrebienok if like us you don't like the skiing vibe.

4-star Wellness Hotel Borovica is set in the heart of the High Tatras in Štrbské Pleso, the highest village of the Tatra Mountains. - Staff was very lovely and always helpful - Beautiful hotel with amazing SPA facilities - Amazing breakfast and dinner

Αυτό το άψογα ανακαινισμένο μοναδικό ξενοδοχείο είναι μια κατοικία με ιστορική κληρονομιά, μέσα σε ένα ειδυλλιακό τοπίο με εκπληκτικό φόντο το βουνό Tatra. This building and the family owning it is deeply integrated into the history of the surrounding towns and the Tatras. The building has been beautifully renovated recently, and they managed to perfectly keep the old style while providing all the modern conveniences. From the moment you arrive and the owner greets you, you feel like you are visiting with friends instead of staying in a hotel. They always have a few kind words for you and go out of their way to help you. We did have a special request beforehand, which was perfectly organized. They can also give you great advice for your time in the Tatras. The breakfast is a full continental selection, and according to the owners, they just started doing dinners. This is usually a buffet of 2 soups and 2-3 main courses, but created by a talented chef, expertly bringing traditional Slovakian flavours into modern cuisine. We are a family of foodies, so we actively seek out different restaurants to try the local food, but this time we were more than happy to have dinners in the hotel. The wellness needs to be booked a little bit in advance at the reception. But then you get a whole part of the building just for yourselves, with a sauna and a jacuzzi bath, and best of all, a spacious room with a fireplace and a bar where you can relax. Even though we are not wellness fanatics, we all found it lovely and definitely worth to try. It's obvious from my superlatives that it was one of the very best hotel stays in my life. It's almost on the level of the Japanese ryokans that I have experienced. This is not a luxury place, but a quality place, if you can appreciate the difference. Also, it's a quiet place, so you probably shouldn't go there if you want to party. On the other hand, if you want to relax and enjoy the surroundings, you won't be disappointed.
