This hotel exceeded our expectations. It looks fantastic, the food is unbelievably good, the spa is wonderful and the staff did everything to make us feel welcomed. It is only 15 min drive from ski slopes that we enjoyed every day.

Horsky Hotel Sliezsky Dom is located in the heart of Tatra Mountains, 1670 metres above the sea level. It offers elegant rooms with mountain views, a flat-screen TV and a minibar. It is a unique place to come at all times of the year! Hidden in high Tatras this hotel offers high-quality acommodation for travelers who search for both adventures and relaxation. Comfortable room, clean bathroom. Wellness area has a jacuzzi for 4 people, 2 saunas and a great view to the mountains. We also had a classical massage which was great after hiking. Very good breakfast options and great dinner for 22 eur / person. However, the most amazing is the surroundings and various hiking trails.

Boasting a prime location at an alpine lake 1,351 meters above sea level in the spectacular High Tatras, the Grand Hotel Kempinski is an exclusive resort for discerning guests. The location, it was right next to the lake. The property had Cigar room which was amazing. Coffee lounge, fire places, Game area and world class spa with Sauns, jacuzzi and big pool with chandeliers. the chars in the pool were actuall the mostt comfortable sofas we had ever been to. And the view from pool, was just wow. The most important of all was amazing service the staff offered, it was as if i was transported to a different era where all your needs were taken care of. And the restaurant and its service, we booked a dinner and it felt lile michlen star place and food. We are definitely going to come again.

Looking back upon a 100 year-long tradition in hospitality the historical Grandhotel Stary Smokovec in the centre of the High Tatras, only 3 minutes from the departure station of the Hrebienok cable... First of all, the looks of it. Also it was center of the little village and very close to the train station.

Grandhotel Praha is located Tatranska Lomnica, at the foot of Lomnicky Peak, right in the heart of High Tatras and only 900 metres from the nearest ski lift. the pictures on the website don't do justice at all: the hotel is MUCH better in reality than it looks like in the pictures (it was a great surprise for us) ; the style and interior decoration are amazing ; the garden and terrasse are beautiful ; definitely a place to stay for hikes in the warmer seasons ; the buffet breakfast was great ; the buffet dinner was also great (good quality and range) ; the restaurant was beautiful ; the hotel was very clean, extremely well maintained and stunning in its architecture (a classic gem) ; the staff was helpful and respectful ; the location was excellent (e.g.: close to cablecars, hiking tracks, ski slopes, town) ; the parking was big and easy to move into ; the spa & wellness facilities were excellent and clean ; the bar was cool and barmen very friendly and at your attention ; live music is played on some days and over the weekend (pianist) ; the gopass included is a real bounty for the activities around ; there is a playroom for children and a big conference room ; the room and bed were comfortable ; the bathroom was clean ; we had a very good view from our room (classic room with view) ; we could even witness a sky-tearing storm ; the hotel is so good you could spend the whole there without feeling you're missing out ; I could go on and on but a definite gem in the Tatras ; one of the best hotels I've stayed in and would definitely recommend to anyone going in the Tatras ; very good value for money ; internet was good too and possible to work from the room desk

Set in the highest level of protection in High Tatras National Park, BILÍKOVA CHATA - Horský hotel is located on the south-east facing slope of Slavkovský Peak, and is 300 metres from Hrebienok... Beautiful recently renovated and clean room with a stunning view of the mountains. It has a nice two person private sauna you can reserve. The restaurant serves good Slovak food and drinks for very reasonable prices. They even have their own souvenirs, postcards and snacks for sale. But most of all it's a lovely mountain hut with the benefits of a hotel, and the perfect base for hikers who want to enjoy nature. Multiple marked trails are right outside of your doorstep! It's accessible by foot or fernicular (expensive cable car), and just outside of the business and tourism of Hrebienok if like us you don't like the skiing vibe.

Right at the banks of the Strbske Pleso lake, the Hotel Solisko is situated in the High Tatras Mountains, 1351 metres above sea level. It has its own spa and fitness centre and a lakeside restaurant. everything! awesome room with beautiful lake view. stuff very nice and helpful. good food at the restaurant. and you cannot beat the location if you’re a hiker - lots of trailheads just at the door
