Le personnel était très attentionné, notre chambre spacieuse, neuve et propre. Eau et café en libre service. L'emplacement bien qu'un peu excentré est agréable et proche de la gare routière et d'un Lotus.

Decoration truly made us feeling connected with nature, following eco hotel’s design and ‘breath in nature’ concept. Every part of hotel was insanely instagrammable. Overall facilities were well maintained and cared for. Located within 5-10 min walking distance to many local markets, Chantaboon waterfront community, Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Robinson, etc. Hotel was fully internationalized, so foreigners are welcome! Staffs were attentive, helpful and friendly. There was also a butterfly pea welcome drink for refreshment. You should take benefit of Buy 1 Get 1 drink during 14:00-16:00. Mapeed smoothies and Mapeed soda are really a MUST TRY. Main course was a la cart which either Asean or Western breakfast can be chosen (One order per person, but if you’d like more only Boiled rice Chantaboon style will be served). Buffet selections were not much, but rich with quality reminding of homemade cooking taste. We loved free flow Mapeed drink. Recommend to stay here and immerse yourself in nature and decent local food.

The room is very tidy and cozy. I am very appreciated this hotel unlimited provide drinking water and orange juice. Breakfast is very Thai style. It is not bad. Overall I am very satisfied during my stay period.

Hôtel calme et très confortable, au bord de la rivière, et à dix minutes à pied du food market du dimanche soir. Les chambres sont vastes, très lumineuses, la propreté est impeccable, et le balcon avec vue sur la rivière très agréable. Restaurant de fruits de mer à côté de l'hôtel, recommandé. Le petit déjeuner est très correct (fruits, options asiatiques ou occidentales, café correct).

Situé à Chanthaburi, le Baan Rim Ao propose une piscine extérieure, une salle de sport, un jardin et un restaurant. I usually don't like to stay in hotels, even the best and most famous ones. But the experience at Baan Rim Ao was exceptional! We planned a trip to Chanthaburi for two days to see the local sights and visit the jewelry market and didn't book the hotel in advance. We looked at what was available on booking for a reasonable price with 4 stars. 

 The hotel is not in the town itself but in a picturesque area near farms on the bay. We checked in not in tourist season and there was another couple from China staying in the entire hotel besides us. How surprised we were when in the evening a group of musicians came to the restaurant (there was even a saxophonist) and arranged a whole concert for us alone. And when they brought us the menu, we couldn't believe that the oysters cost no more than 160 Bt. We decided to try it and it turned out to be the best oysters in our life - the freshest and tender. 

 The staff is a separate story. No one speaks enough English to communicate with the guest. This is not a chain hotel where the staff is trained to international standards. And that's a good thing. Because they do everything with heart and full dedication to their work. No even the highest standards can reproduce this family atmosphere.

 We liked everything very much, down to the smallest detail. And we have also never seen such a perfectly clean pool! The man who takes care of the pool is a god in his business.
 I think Baan Rim Ao Hotel is the crown jewel of Chanthaburi.
