We genuinely loved every moment of our stay here. I cannot express how much the staff made our stay. They were the most attentive / courteous and caring people we have ever met. We loved speaking to them every day, they are a credit to Akagera Game Lodge and really deserve so much recognition. A special thank you to everyone that was working during our stay, we really wish we got everyone's names as everyone deserves a mention. Gastone in particular was incredible. We were taken care of better than we have been before and we have travelled a lot! The lodge is the most amazing experience, the food is delicious, The scenery and nature that surrounds you is honestly out of this world. We loved every morning waking up here, looking out our balcony to breath taking views, enjoying delicious breakfast's, heading off on our game drive, coming back to enjoy drinks by the pool, enjoying a delicious dinner and finishing our nights by the firepit with a lovely cosy blanket. We are already planning our next visit.

This place is a dream! Great location with lovely details close to Akagera National Park. Amazing food (dinner and breakfast) with homegrown ingredients. Plus, the owner is super nice and inspiring to talk to!

Akagera Neighbors in Kabarondo has a bar and a shared lounge. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We spend 1 night at Akagera neighbours. We loved the warm welcome we received from Alexi and his colleagues! He really took the time to have a little chat, show us around and offer us some dinner with a speciality Rwandan beer. We felt like home instantly. He is a wonderful host! The room is simple but correct. We had hot water for the shower and nice breakfast: omelet with veggies. A nice change of only eggs. The court yard where you can eat was very cosy. recommended!

Akagera guide's House is located in Kabarondo and offers barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Lovely welcome and Patrick looked after us brilliantly. He prepared a meal that was the best we had in the 2 weeks we spent in Rwanda.
