Located in Pwani Mchangani, 300 metres from Pwani Mchangani Beach, TIANDE Boutique Hotel provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The property is so pretty- the gardens are beautiful and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Although TianDe isn’t directly on the beach, Mariola (the owner) has a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel that is first row, so guests can spend time there during the day. The bar and restaurant area are lovely and the food is yummy and fresh- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is sparkling, and the staff is warm and hard-working. Our room was clean and comfortable, with A/C, tea/coffee, good shower, nice decor. Mariola and her boyfriend live on site- they are doing a fantastic job running TianDe with a lot of hard work and love. We wish them success and will recommend to TianDe to anyone traveling to Zanzibar.

Sunny Villa Matemwe has an outdoor swimming pool, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Matemwe. This was by far the best place I could have stayed. Amazing room and staff. I can only say thank you Mr Samir, Mr Ali and Miss Aziza. Would I come back? A thousand times YES

Thank you so much to Sadiqi, Shakira and the rest of the team for taking good care of me during the stay. All of them are so nice and helpful :) The room was very good and cleaned properly every day, the breakfast was delicious, especially pancakes :) I was ordering lunch/dinner in the hotel, the food is sooo tasty and portions are very big. I can say, that food was more delicious, than in restaurants on the beach. Big thanks to everyone, guys!:) And lovely monkey Abu who I'm missing so much;)

Haber Hotel is a fantastic place! Small family hotel located in Matemwe, it offers comfort and quiet atmosphere for a relaxing holiday. I would recommend it to all those who want to avoid the big crowded noisy touristic hotels on the coast but in the same time want to stay close to beautiful beaches (nearby you can find Muyuni beach and Matemwe beach). The owners, Kris and Kasha, are great and would do everything to make the stay of the guests unforgettable. The staff is very kind and the whole dynamic of this property is tailored to fit the needs and comfort of the guests. Breakfast is fabulous, served from 8am till noon, for those who like to sleep in late, and for lunch and dinner we could chose delicious options from a rich menu or even off menu. Pets are welcome (the hotel is actually named after Haber, the owners' cute Cocker Spaniel). At any time of our stay we felt welcome, safe, well taken care of and even spoiled.

Zanzicrown features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Nungwi. This 3-star hotel offers a bar. We stayed at this hotel for 10 days. I chose the hotel for quite a long time before the trip, looked at the reviews on different platforms, and noticed one thing, all the reviews praise the homely and friendly atmosphere, and note the owner Elena. And I made a decision, I want to find out who this Elena is and why everyone is so happy. Starting from the arrival, Enrique was very nice and welcoming, helped with the accommodation. During the stay at the hotel, they helped in everything. In search of tours, advised restaurants, places. Breakfast was included, even though we slept for a long time, and was only able to wake up at breakfasts time twice, breakfast was delicious and there was good variety of food. I would like to thank Elena, Enrique and Nassor for the warm welcome and great hospitality. If I return to Zanzibar, I will definitely stay at this hotel again

This place is very good for solo travelers, good value for money, very very safe and exceptionally great staff , very loving and helpful. The owner is very helpful and kind as well. Great food ,more over the hotel is just by a Beautiful white sand beach. Overview a highly recommended place to stay in zanibar.

Facing the beachfront, Mambo Paradise offers 4-star accommodation in Matemwe and features free bikes, outdoor swimming pool and garden. So good we stayed an extra night!
