The staff was magnificent, kind, and attentive. The facilities are new and beautiful. The pool was perfect to relax in and cool off. The location is centrally located, we even walked to and from the airport. They called for transportation to scuba diving and whale shark tours. The food was excellent and plentiful. We ate all our meals there for 6 days. And the staff was wonderful. All 5 of us in our group, after a month of traveling, highly recommend Mafia Dream

El Dive Planet Mafia Island ofrece alojamiento en Utende. El alojamiento es hipoalergénico y se encuentra a 6 km de la reserva marina de Rufiji Mafia Kilwa. Todas las habitaciones incluyen escritorio.... This is a great place to stay if you are planning to dive in Mafia for a view days. The two cosy new bungalows are part of the family run dive center. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is yummy and you can also have the option for dinner. I enjoyed the big pool to relax after great dives and the beach is just a stone throw away. Also the dive center and its extremely helpful staff deserves 5 stars!

El Maisara Mafia Beach Lodge se encuentra en Kilindoni y ofrece restaurante, bar, jardín y zona de playa privada. Ofrece habitaciones familiares y terraza. Beautiful bungalows with a huge garden directly in front of the beach. All the bungalows have a big glass front where you can see the garden and at some locations the beach. Incredibly nice staff - try to help and accommodate wherever they can. Could change the room without problems as I needed AC to be able to sleep (March can be incredibly hot and humid). Even came back to the hotel after diving on the other side of the island. Everything seems a bit rustic as first but you will definitely fall in love with it. There is a really really nice gift shop with handicrafts on site - really nice woman from the village, definitely one to support. The locations to the beach is super close and to the left there are two more hotels you can go for dinner or a drink. People all know each other on Mafia and help you with everything! :) Breakfast is great!

Truly cosy, comfortable, very clean, surrounded by greenery, with direct access to the sea and a super nice walk to the centre of Kilindoni. Food was delicious, staff lovely and Musa himself was an excellent caring and informative host. Most recommended!

The staff was amazing, very hospitable and took care of everything. Breakfast and dinner was great, they have a really great chef and attentive personnel. They also rented us bikes for free, such that we could drive to the dive shop (~10 minutes by bike). Great and inexpensive stay!

Kitu Kiblu is a little gem in Kilindoni, only 5 minutes from the airstrip. The lodge is completely immersed in nature, with direct access to the ocean and a breathtaking view. The atmosphere is more of a family than an accommodation facility: you feel right away at ease with everyone, and you can immediately switch your brain off and take away any sort of stress that you carry on your shoulders. If you want, you can also organise an encounter with the whale sharks in a responsible and organized manner. I left a piece of heart in Kitu Kiblu and I'll definitely come back.
