The location of the property was excellent overlooking the beach. The staff were nice. The GM and the Manager F&B are always on ground to ensure that our stay was comfortable. There was never a boring moment in the hotel. I will surely come back to the hotel in my next vacation.

An excellent beach resort on the east coast of Zanzibar. It is quiet and beautiful. The staff is excellent, very helpful, efficient and always smiling. The beakfast has plenty of variety that I have not seen in similar resorts. The view of the sunrise from the resort was beautiful. The baech has rocky patches, however the resort provides beach shoes. The resort arranges excursions as per your requrements through a tour company with very good and relaible guides and drivers. We went on the tour with an excellent guide Malik, that included swim with dolphins, snorkelling and watching the sunset. It was all wonderfully organised including a lunch at a local restaurant. It is nice that the tour company is supporting the local retaurants. It was a bliss to return to the quiet Karibu Resort after a hectic day and relax with a drink. The resort has thoughtfully provided books and board games for th guests. The resort restaurant provides a reasonable variety of dishes. There are other restaurants available nearby in case you want a change. I recommend this quiet and beautiful resort for a quiet holiday with family or friends.

The staff went above and beyond to assist me, providing prompt and effective medical care with a smile that alleviated any concerns I had. Their professionalism and kindness during this unexpected situation further solidified my admiration for their exceptional service. Beyond the outstanding service of Madalina - the amazing manager and the staff, the hotel itself is a paradise. The rooms are super clean and luxurious, the amenities are top-notch, the food is great and the surroundings are simply breathtaking. Every aspect of the property exudes tranquility and serenity, as it is quite and private. I couldn't help but wish for more time to savor the beauty and hospitality of this hotel.
