It’s a charming old hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable and it’s right in the centre of hood river, which is also a lovely town.

Text from staff after checking in making sure we were happy with the room which may be a bit invasive for some but fine to me and its nice to have a modern method point of contact other than a landline phone or going to front desk. Pool was great for kids. Fresh filtered water tap to fill up jugs before we left. 5 minute walk from downtown or windsurfing area, 2 minute drivs. Breakfast was good and fresh waffle making was cool. Room was a nice layout and felt big. Very friendly with dogs and a nice area right next to the front door where you can throw a ball for a dog and they can use the bathroom. Overall good vibe, you could tell everyone was pretty happy with their stay.
