Detta historiska hotell i Berea byggdes 1909 och ligger på Berea College Campus. Hotellet har en egen restaurang, och Berea studenter är tillverkade av körsbärs-, ek- och furumöbler. I LOVED the Historic Boone Tavern; it was one of the highlights of my three week road trip around some of the (for UK visitors anyway) less visited parts of the US. The place was impeccably clean, staff were very friendly and professional (including some young people for whom working at the hotel is part of their studies), the location (in the centre of town) was great and the hotel has a really nice vibe. I got a bit of a shock to discover that Berea is in a 'dry' county, but fortunately that didn't apply to guests at the hotel. I'd have liked to stay for a second night but (unsurprisingly, I guess) the hotel was full to the rafters so I was compelled to move on.

(Some hotel pillows barely earn the moniker of pillow). While we didn’t stay for the free breakfast, we noticed that the options looked plentiful. If you are traveling near Richmond, KY, and need a place to stay, I would recommend this hotel.
