The room had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we liked the screen door at the back with the deck. If we come back to the island we would love to stay here again.

Upon booking, the hotel informed us that they don't have AC and elevator, which is unusual these days at main land. As this is our last-minute booking, we decided to go ahead with it. As we first got there, it looks like a motel and pretty rundown from the outside. Actually as we walked into the room, we found it very spacious and the king size bed is so comfortable. We also have a bit view of the ocean. At night it cools down quite a bit. So if you have the balcony door open and fan on, it's pretty cool. The housekeeping ladies are doing a great job cleaning everyday. Overall, we are super happy about this booking and would recommend to our friends.

Very nice hotel with a big garden near down town Hilo. The staff is just lovely and very helpful. The atmosphere in the hotel is special. Very relaxed and peaceful. If I ever come again to the Big Island of Hawaii, Wild Ginger will be my first choice for my stay.

I like everything of this stay. The ocean view is amazing, and it’s even better to wake up and have breakfast with the sound of waves. Tomomi is super helpful and her breakfast is great. The space is airy and inviting, and we very much appreciated the HUGE and comfortable bed after our flight from the US. Diana is extremely welcoming and gave us excellent tips for places to eat and sights around the area. It was wonderful having breakfast of fresh fruits, coffee and great conversations. We booked two rooms, both were clean and well-maintained with a lovely breeze (and fans). We will stay here again!

Charming home decor, fully equipped home. It comes with everything a family needs. There’s a ukelele that my son loves playing. What a wonderful time in the house.
