Just steps away from the famed shopping, dining and entertainment on the Magnificent Mile, this historic hotel is located in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood and features a rooftop bar and lounge... The service and the people were absolutely amazing , I can say say without a doubt that was the best customer service we have ever received !!!!!!! But I would like to point out 3 people that just blew my mind and they went above and beyond unfortunate I don’t remember their names . I was a beautiful african American lady at the service desk and two Hispanic gentlemen , one that helped us with the suitcases and the other with our vehicle . I am German and American service has always been a bit superficial to me but these three people were so sincere in their service and friendliness it was just absolutely amazing . Please extend my deepest gratitude and thank u for being a part in our vacation .

This hotel located in St. Ignace features an evening bonfire and marshmallow roast by the beach and an indoor/outdoor pool. Views at Castle Rock are just 5 minutes’ drive away. We has a family suite and it was spacious and let the older family be separated from the younger for sleep time. Excellent! The staff was amazing. We celebrated a 93rd birthday on the property and they were so helpful with our Sanders Cake ! The kids loved an out door pool in September! And the large hot tub let them warm up. The outdoor fire was great. The waterfront view this time with tractors and flags to honor September 11 at the Bridge tractor crossing took our trip over the top. Relaxed easy and special. Not fancy just delightful and UP real:)!!

Hotel is located right on the riverwalk so you can walk to lake Michigan and the north pier area from the hotel. Beautiful walk. It is within 2 blocks of 3 very nice restaurants (Trattoria Stefano-celebration type restaurant-make reservations. El Ritrove Naples style pizza restaurant, and Field to Fork for a premium lunch). Easy parking, clean nice rooms. We had a river view. Nice.

Nice view of Lake Michigan. Our king size room was huge. It had a separate area with a large couch and ottoman. There was a desk and good lighting. The bathroom was very nice and had a heat lamp which we used each day while taking a shower. The front desk and breakfast staff were very nice and accommodating. There was a nice man out in a golf cart picking up people during breakfast and taking them back and forth to the breakfast building.

It was wonderful being able to walk to the convention center, which has a Starbucks and a Metra stop, without going outside. We were also within walking distance of Soldier Field, the Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum, the Adler Planetarium, and multiple public transit options. Overall, a great place for our family to stay on our recent vacation.

This hotel is 1350 feet from the Downtown Milwaukee Amtrak Station. I walked to the station in the morning and took a train to Chicago. I took a train back to Milwaukee and walked back to my hotel room. I also walked about one mile to Lake Michigan from this hotel. A beautiful walk while taking in historic architecture, The Milwaukee River, and a wonderful lakeshore park.
