I love this place. This could be the best view in The Dalles. Savannah, the friendly concierge, was very helpful and even offered free wine! Love Love Love it here.

We totally liked everything in the place. Everything was as described online. Too bad we could only stay one night. Everything for cooking provided, place in the woods with golf area view, grill on the veranda but no grillmaster around. Just kidding. Big, kitchen and stuff, nice decor, Grocery store 7 minutes drive. Very friendy at check in. We were not in time to use the hot tub but we saw from out balcony guests enjoying it. Great bath supplies.

It’s a charming old hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable and it’s right in the centre of hood river, which is also a lovely town.

Providing free WiFi throughout the property, Hampton Inn & Suites Hood River is set in Hood River. Loved it. Text from staff after checking in making sure we were happy with the room which may be a bit invasive for some but fine to me and its nice to have a modern method point of contact other than a landline phone or going to front desk. Pool was great for kids. Fresh filtered water tap to fill up jugs before we left. 5 minute walk from downtown or windsurfing area, 2 minute drivs. Breakfast was good and fresh waffle making was cool. Room was a nice layout and felt big. Very friendly with dogs and a nice area right next to the front door where you can throw a ball for a dog and they can use the bathroom. Overall good vibe, you could tell everyone was pretty happy with their stay.
