Located in Stanley Landing, Okefenokee Pastimes Cabins and Campground offers accommodation with seating area. This campground features a bar. I rented the basic cabin . It was furnished with linens and included a refrigerator and microwave. The bed was comfortable . I only came here to get my dog away from fireworks on New Years. They had a band playing in the park which the singer was quite good . This was unexpected and a nice plus making the evening feel more like a holiday for me .

Relax Inn is located in Folkston. With barbecue facilities, the 2-star motel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. There was no breakfast. At check-in she wanted to charge more than what I had booked. She ended up giving me the room for the booked price. I think this facility is in the process of being improved, and it needs it. The bathroom was clean and the furniture was clean. The carpet was not clean. The AC fan on low was too much. I hope they can upgrade things a bit, even having matching furnishings and a more comfortable bed would give a better impression. There is a need for nice rooms for overnight in the area.
